Objective: To cover the costs associated with spaying and neutering dogs and cats that will be returned to their families.

Many families do not have the means to spay/neuter their pets and therefore their pets have many litters each year. This is feeding into Canada’s pet overpopulation issue.

1 female dog and her offspring (if none are fixed) will produce 420,000 in just 9 years. It is 46,000 for cats.

With this program we will be able to help these families spay/neuter their animals and prevent more unwanted litters.

On average it costs $250 for a spay and $200 for a neuter for a dog. This includes their needed after care medication, food and other costs while in our care.

Once we have completed the spay or neuter we will email you a copy of the spay/neuter certificate along with a picture of the dog.
