About Me
Skillet’s journey to finding her forever home started when she appeared at a local shop—very hungry, very pregnant, and looking for help. Kindhearted staff made sure she had food and reached out to our rescue, giving her the chance she and her babies deserved.

Not long after, Skillet welcomed her kittens into the world and proved to be an incredible mom. She was attentive, loving, and devoted, making sure every one of her babies was healthy, safe, and well cared for. Now that her kittens have grown and are ready to start their own adventures, it’s finally Skillet’s turn to be someone’s baby. And what we’ve discovered is that Skillet is an absolute sweetheart.

She is gentle, calm, playful, and wonderfully independent. She isn’t the type of cat who needs to be in your lap every minute of the day, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to be near you. In fact, Skillet will happily follow you around the house, keeping you company wherever you go.

She is incredibly respectful of boundaries and has a lovely understanding of when someone needs a little space. She’s equally happy doing her own thing or joining in for some playtime, especially when a flirt pole comes out!

Skillet has a calm presence that simply makes a space feel better. She doesn’t demand attention or need to be the centre of the room—she’s just happy to be part of the family. She enjoys playing with everyone, respects both people and other animals, and is perfectly content being her independent little self.

After spending so much of her life looking after everyone else, Skillet has discovered that life can be pretty wonderful when someone else is looking after you. Soft beds, regular meals, toys, safety, and the comfort of knowing she is loved are exactly what this sweet girl deserves.
