About Me

Milly is a tiny Chihuahua with a big heart and a love for veggies that will make you smile every time. Open a veggie tray and she’ll wake from the deepest nap just to join the fun—this little lady knows what she likes and isn’t shy about showing it!

Milly is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and truly cared for. She came into our care after the heartbreaking loss of her beloved owner, and the change has left her feeling scared and unsure. Milly will need extra time and patience to adjust to the sights, sounds, and routines of her new environment, but once she feels secure, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion.

Milly thrives in calm, predictable homes and bonds deeply with her people. She adores soft beds and burrowing into blankets, curling up in cozy spots for long naps. Once she trusts you, she loves belly rubs, curls up for gentle snuggles, and rewards patience with endless affection. She enjoys the company of other small dogs and has been fine with cats, but she isn’t suited for busy households or homes with children.

While she is learning to navigate new experiences—like wearing a harness, exploring the outdoors, and going for short walks—she does not enjoy vet visits and may need a patient approach to medical care. With time, consistency, and understanding, Milly is steadily gaining confidence and learning that her world can be safe and loving.

Important Considerations:

  • Experience with Chihuahuas recommended—she has classic Chihuahua quirks and needs someone who understands her breed.

  • Patience and calm approach required—she will take longer than average dog to warm up, but she’s worth every moment.

  • Quiet home —she needs a calm, low-stress environments.

  • Medical care—Milly has had a full dental procedure and will need follow-up tests for some mineralization around her liver and bladder. Her new family would manage routine veterinary follow-ups once she’s comfortable.
