East is a gentle, sensitive little guy who is looking for a forever home willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace.
East and his three siblings had a really tough start to life, and for a while, humans were pretty scary. He used to protect himself by being a little “spicy,” but with patience, love, and the dedication of his foster mom, East has discovered something very important: people can actually be pretty wonderful.

East is an observer who loves to watch the world go by from a cozy hiding spot, and he feels safest when he has a quiet place to retreat to. He’s also a playful little guy who loves his toys and is happiest when he’s conquering the highest peaks of his cat tree.

East prefers to come to you when he decides it’s time for affection, that’s when the magic happens. He’ll approach you for head scratches, lean right into your hand, soak up the attention, and reward you with the sweetest purrs. He may not be the kitten who immediately runs into your arms, but watching him learn to trust you—and knowing that he chose you—is incredibly rewarding.
