History: Blazey came into care with a litter of pups (Ice Age Litter) She was set to go back to her family but they changed their minds. Blazey is a very quick learner. She loves to play in the yard and zoom around. She is still learning about city life but does well on walks and recovers fast if something spooks her. She is anxious and untrusting of men. We believe this is something she can overcome with training.
She is currently looking for a Woman only home with a yard. No condos for her as she does like to sing from time to time and we would not want this to cause any issues in a condo

History: Dodger came into our care from the reservation. Dodger is a curious, goofy, active boy! He loves to cuddle and sit on your lap (although he doesn’t know he’s big so shhh don’t tell him)! He is a sweetheart who loves people- especially kids! He loves going for car rides and walks as well; there is always something new he wants to explore. He loves to be with his people, and is often found underfoot in whatever room you enter!

History: Ruckus came into our care as an owner surrender. His owner did not understand what energetic pups are like and quickly became overwhelmed. He has a ton of energy to burn. He knows sit, and shake and is crate trained. He is working on not jumping on people or counters and redirecting his mouthing to toys over humans. He LOVES his humans and requires an adopter willing to give him a lot of attention and open to the training he needs. He loves to lick out the bathtub after someone has used it, which is very entertaining. He can be shy for about the first 2 minutes of meeting someone but then quickly warms up to them. He has lived with dogs before but will require a very patient dog while he learns his manners. Due to his jumping and mouthing he is looking for a family without young children

History: Skipper is an amazing dog and would fit into almost any home. She can be a bit timid to start but once she earns your trust she is the cuddliest, most affectionate and funny girl. She walks really well on leash and also does really well at the off leash park. She also likes going for hikes, especially with other dogs. She does really well at dog friendly patios. She loves to do zoomies and play with other dogs. She’s great at adjusting her play to the dog. For example if they’re smaller or older. She is very smart and sometimes I swear she understands English. For example if I say “you need to go into your crate”, she knows what you’ve said to her and goes into her crate.
She’s crate trained, house trained and doesn’t chew on things she’s not supposed to.
She’s very friendly with all dogs and loves to smell people on walks. She can be more cautious if people try to pet her right away, but once she’s checked them out, she’s open to a pet.

History: She was born in care. Harbor is a bit shy at first but wow does she LOVE to cuddle. She would be great in a home with other animals, especially calm confident dogs. She enjoys playing but knows how to relax. She is restless at first in her kennel at night but will settle quickly as long as she is not isolated. And she is quickly learning to love to walk. She never pulls and enjoys learning more about the great big world. She will need her new home to work with her on her guarding of her people

History: She came into our care very pregnant after her family asked us to help them by taking her in to care. She is the mama of the Nautical litter. She still acts like a puppy and has playful energy. She had lived outside all her life till coming into care so she still needs to build some confidence moving up and down stairs, and moving around a home. She was living with other cats and dogs but had to fight for her food. We think she would be good in a home with dogs as long as everyone was fed separately. She has experience with kids and other than still learning to not jump up is good with them. She needs a family that is willing to take the time to help her build her confidence and learn to be the best pup she can.

History: Hi, I'm Mauve and I'm almost 3 months old. This past week I learned a lot, like walking up and down stairs all by myself and now I'm rocking them like a boss! I've also learned to go to the bathroom in the yard, not in the house. I've had lots of visitors... the kids in this neighbourhood LOVE me, and pop over after school to chase me around the yard. They are really fun! But mostly I like wrestling with my brother who is here with me. My favourite treats are frozen watermelon, fresh zucchini and the dollop of coconut oil on my food! I'd love to go home with you!

History: Meeko came to us from the Canadian Task Force during one of their clinics. Hi, I'm Meeko... As you can see, I wear a bandit mask... and I will steal your heart, baby! I want to make you happy, and will run to fetch anything you throw... I'll even sometimes bring it back, especially if there are treats involved. I've learned from my foster human and like to throw soft toys in games with my puppy friends, and I love to bounce when I'm happy or playing. I will follow you... wherever you may go- up and down the stairs, as many times as you like! My favourite expression is one ear perky and the other flopped... it's my signature look. You want me... you know you do!

He loves to play with dog friends and respects dog boundaries when given ques. He is good with kids. We have not tested him with cats but have that option to. He needs to work on his counter surfing but is taking redirection well. He is also crate trained.

She did not have the greatest interactions with humans as a pup so is cautious meeting strangers but does come around fast. She does need more time and patience with male kids but we have been working with her on this. She loves other dogs and we are unsure how she is with cats. She loves her crate and will guard it from other animals. Once she is comfortable with you she is a very goofy dog. She is not comfortable on leash yet so we have yet to take her out on walks

History: Alexis and her brother David came into care as their owner was moving across the country for a new job that will have him away from the house for very long hours. These two will not be adopted out together as we have already seen signs of Littermate syndrome that is causing them to be over protective of each other with other dogs. She is house and crate trained and good on walks. If going to a home with another dog the new family will need to work on setting boundaries and teaching her to share her human. She does attach quickly to humans

History: David and his sister Alexis came into care as their owner was moving across the country for a new job that will have him away from the house for very long hours. These two will not be adopted out together as we have already seen signs of Littermate syndrome that is causing them to be over protective of each other with other dogs. David can be a little shy to start but does warm up to you. He plays well with dogs his size and we have not tested him with bigger dogs yet. He is crate trained and needs to be in a crate when not attended as he likes to chew cords. He is great on walks.

History: Tater was adopted out as a pup but is now back in care. He is such a sweet dog. He loves to play with his dog friends or cuddle on the couch with his human. He is really starting to show is goofy side. He is a little uneasy around vets due to an incident that led him to bite the vet. We honestly do not think it is something that would happen again. He feels more comfortable with people that are confident and trusting of him. He is currently Megan’s pick for a “Keeper” He is also crate trained and great with kids
