Name: French Toast
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Approx.size/weight when full grown: 6-8 lbs
Breed: DHS mix
History: She came to us form a reserve in Sask.
French Toast is a laid back and very well-mannered cat. We have nicknamed her "Cricket" because of the adorable chirping noises she makes. At mealtime she will have entire conversations with us. She loves to be around people and "assist" with tasks. She can be very affectionate on HER terms but doesn't love being picked up. She'll take a good head scratch any time though! She does not like dogs therefore needs a dog free home

Name: Thelma & Louise
Gender: Females
Age: Aug 14th 2019
Approx.size/weight when full grown: 10 lbs
Breed: DSH
History: Meet Thelma and Louise! These two used to be farm cats and weren't used to much human interaction, but they’re coming around quickly! Both love to lounge in the window and aren't afraid to be out in the open near the humans. Thelma is the more confident one - she LOVES to be pet and cuddled and has become a bit of a lap cat. Lousie is very curious and is starting to allow some contact with people - she will sniff her foster mom's hand and then fall over backwards as if she has just smelled something foul. She's got quite a hilarious personality!!

They are best friends and would like to stay together if at all possible. With some time and positive reinforcement, these two will make lovely companions. Plus, they match!

Name: Tonka (Toy Themed Litter)
Gender: Male
Age: Nov 3 2020
Approx.size/weight when full grown: 30-50 lbs - Small to Medium size
Breed: Small/Medium Breed Mutt
History: His mom came into our care with 7 pups from the reservation.

Hello I am Tonka! I am a growing by who came from a litter of 7 puppies where there were only 2 boys, me and my brother! I am about 8 lbs at 8 weeks and growing fast! I recently came to my new foster home where there are other dogs & a cat. I get along with all of them! I LOVE playing with toys! Soft ones are my favorite! I love running around and playing with the other dogs in the home too! I am either playing and running or sleeping! I also LOVE to eat! Food is so good! My foster mom has been working on my kennel training which is going not great but we are working on it! I can get lonely in my kennel and cry and bark to get out, it's hard but I am doing my best! I am a pretty quiet boy most of the time otherwise. I am also working on my house training! If my foster mom takes me out I will go with some encouragement but I can still have accidents as I am still learning! Also! I love to cuddle with my foster humans! After I am tired out from playing, I would love to curl up beside my humans and get cuddles and pets! My foster mom says I am a gentle guy who is a bit on the sensitive side. I am also very brave though and will go off to explore in my house and sometimes in the yard but I don't go very far. As typical puppies you will have to watch me as I like to chew things like shoes, tables and anything else laying around but I am easily redirected with a more exciting toy. I also have a little nubby tail instead of a long one that is super cute when it wags! I am a smart boy and will make a great pet in any home!

He can go to his new home Jan 20

Name: Ocean
Gender: Female
Age: June 22 2019
Approx.size/weight when full grown: 50-80lbs
Breed: Large Breed Mutt
History: She came in pregnant from a reservation. She is the mom of the O litter and also Lucky who has been adopted a while ago.

Ocean is a sweetheart who wants nothing more then to be loved by her people. She is slowly getting used to being in a home environment but the world is still a scary place for her. Every day is a new experience for Ocean whether it's going outside, going on a 2 minute walk, loud vehicles and city sounds. She is getting used to things way faster then her foster expected and with time a patience she will become a great dog. Ocean has been showing some signs of separation anxiety however we have been working on that and she is starting to get better. Her foster has a camera that allows her to speak to Ocean while in her crate so when she starts to get anxious she can just reassure her and Ocean settles again quickly. Ocean loves to be cuddling up with you on the couch or laying beside you on the ground while you complete office work.

Adoption Status: Available

Name: Phoenix
Gender: Male
Age: Born March 28, 2017
Approx. size/weight when fully grown: 60-90 lbs.
Breed: Boxer mix
History: Always eager to lap up your love, friendly Phoenix is passionate about people, couch time and cuddles. Putting the "p" into playful, this happily energetic pup also loves playing with toys and sticks and particularly enjoys games of tug-o-war. Highly intelligent and slightly independent, he’s honing his leash walking skills but remains insecure around strangers, causing him to lunge or growl. He must, therefore, wear a muzzle when meeting new people and going to the vet. For these reasons, Phoenix is best suited to a home without children or other animals where experienced adopters will perfect his skills and further socialize him in exchange for his enduring loyalty and love.

Adoption Status: Available

Name: Fig
Gender: Male
Age: Jan 1 2010
Approx.size/weight when full grown: 10 lbs
Breed: DSH
History: Fig was about to be euthanized by his family when we were asked to set in and help him. They had claimed he was having issues similar to IBS and they did not want to spend anymore money on vetting him. This does not seem to be the case. Though wet food or regular changes in food can upset his stomach. He needed to have a dental which was completed in Dec.

He needs a home that will take their time to let him come out of his shell but this does not take a lot of time. He loves full body rubs and playing with toys
